The Beauty of Books: A Literary-Themed Fundraising Event!

Come and celebrate your love for books and the importance of literacy at our 19+ cocktail event filled with entertainment, book lounges, photo booth, prizes to be won, food and more!

We’re excited to have our event benefit The Children’s Book Bank that supports children’s literacy and programming, and Humber Scholarship Fund that supports students financially through academic scholarships.

Our event will be running a book drive at the venue to benefit Children’s Book Bank’s initiative to provide free books to low-income neighbourhoods in the Toronto Area.

Date: Wednesday, March 30th, 2016

Time: 7:00-11:00pm

Venue: Rosehill Lounge; 6 Rosehill Avenue, Toronto, M4T 2P7

Dress Code: Business Casual (no street clothes)

BOOK DONATION GUIDELINES

Here are the kind of books The Children’s Book Bank is looking for:

Children’s books for kids aged birth to 12 years old; no teen or adult books please.
Children’s books printed within the last ten years, so a print date of 2005 - present.
Children’s books in new or gently used condition – no missing covers, torn pages, or pages with colouring/writing on them.

A great rule of thumb: if you would gift it to someone, then it’s good enough for our use.
